Nic von luzia pimpinella fordert heute mit dem Thema "Bold Backgrounds" auf, Fotos zu posten, deren Hintergrund den Vordergrund in den Hintergrund stellt. Dieses Bild habe ich beim Russell Bazaar in Detroit eigentlich wegen des gelben Eulenkissens aufgenommen. Ich weiß nicht was ihr denkt, aber ich finde mein Blick wandert immer wieder zu der stylischen Lampe (warum hab ich die nicht mitgenommen?), den freakigen Bildern, den roten Haaren der Dame und der Backsteinmauer...

I took this picture at the Russell Bazaar in Detroit because I really liked the yellow owl cushion. And I don´t know what you think, but every time I see this photo, my view wanders off to the sylish lamp (why didn´t I take it with me?), the freaky pictures, the lady´s red hair and the brick wall...

Am Wegesrand...

... hab ich mich selbst entdeckt! Genau! Und weil das das Thema von Luzia Pimpinellas Fotoaktion "Beauty is where you find it" ist, bin ich heute auch wieder dabei. Sogar mit einem zweiten Foto, bitteschön. Und wo findet man so wunderbare Motive? Gleich hinterm Haus, in unserer "Müllstraße", also dort, wo die Kanadier ihre Mülltonnen und die Zufahrten zu ihren Garagen haben. Ja, das Gute liegt so nah ;) 

On my wayside... I discovered myself. Exactly! And since this is today´s topic of Luzia Pimpinella´s photo project "Beauty is where you find it", I am in again. And since I am really enjoying it, there is even a second picture! And where can you find such wonderful motives? Well, right behind my house, in our "garbage alley", where the Canadians have their rubbish bins and access to their garages. Good things can be so close!
