Care-Paket reloaded

Was für eine Überraschung, als die Post vorgestern anläutete und das ultimative Care-Paket von zu Hause für mich in der Hand hielt! Von computerbildschirmreinigenden Schildkröten, über Oster-Deko, Gewürze und tonnenweise Schokolade war wirklich alles dabei! Ein großes Dankeschön an meine Mama ;) Man beachte bitte die hübschen Osteraufkleber auf der Verpackung (Bild 1)! So, jetzt kann Ostern kommen! Habt ihr schon Osterdeko angebracht?

Care package reloaded. What a surprise when the Post Officer knocked on my door two days ago carrying the ultimate Care Package from back home for me! From turtles for cleaning the computer screen, to easter decoration, spices and herbs, tons of chocolate, it literally included everything! A big Thank you to my mum ;) Please note the lovely Easter stickers on the packaging (picture number 1)! Well, I think Easter can arrive now! Have you already decorated your place for Easter?

Auswärts essen!

Die Sonne scheint, wir haben 21 Grad und überhaupt fand ich es heute sehr passend draußen im Freien - in meinem Garten - zu essen! Vorallem nachdem ich mich heute bei meiner 6-Kilometer-Laufrunde abgemüht habe wie eine Blöde! "Lauf Julia, lauf!" Die Pasta hat mir wieder auf die Beine geholfen. Mit Knoblauch, Butter und Parmesan. So einfach und soooooo gut! Scheint bei euch heute auch die Sonne?

Und bevor ich es vergesse: Die liebe Miss W hat mir einen Award verliehen! Ich sage "JUHU!" und "DANKE!" und werde mir bis morgen die geforderten sieben Fakten über mich zusammenschreiben ;) 

Eating out. The sun is shining we´re having 21 degrees and in general I found it to be the perfect day to have lunch outside in my garden. Especially after having had a real hard time running my 6 kilometres today! "Run Julia, run!"The pasta helped me getting back on my feet. With garlic, butter and parmesan. So simple and sooooo good! Does the sun shine wherever you are, too?

Oh, and before I forget: The lovely Miss W has given me an award! I say "YIPPIEH" and "THANK YOU!" and will prepare seven facts about me, as I am asked for.

Minztee und ein bisschen DAF

Mit ein bisschem frischem Minztee (gemixt mit Alpenkräutern) mache ich meine Gehirnwindungen fit für das Modell der Didaktischen Analyse und den kommunikationsorientieren Unterrichtsansatz. Es lebe das DAF Studium (Deutsch als Fremdsprache)! Zum Tee nehme ich gerne auch ein bisschen Honig oder noch besser Kandiszucker...und ein Stück Apfelkuchen. Wie in Amsterdam! So, jetzt aber...

With a tiny dosis of fresh mint tea (mixed with alpine herbs) I am trying to keep my brain fit for the model of didactial analysis and the communication oriented approach of class. Long live the DAF studies (German as foreign language)! I like my tea with a little bit of honey or even some rock sugar...oh, and a piece of apple cake, just like in Amsterdam. Well, I better get started on my German studies again...

Bei meiner Suche nach schönen Prints für unser Haus bin ich auf Society 6, einer internationalen Künstlervereinigung gestoßen. Die oben abgebildeten Prints dürfen gerne bei mir Einzug halten! Das Gute an der Sache: Society6 ist eine Verkaufsplattform für auch unbekanntere Künstler und die wunderbaren Bilder sind auch noch leistbar!

I´d be happy to see moving in these three prints I am showing you above. And the good thing about Society 6: It´s a vending platform for artists who are not that known or unknown, and I find everything quite affordable!

Christmas for foodies

For all foodlovers out there, or for all those of you who are looking for some entertainment while waiting for the Christkind, or Santa Claus, I would like to show you Jamie Oliver´s Family Christmas. Jamie is cooking with his whole family, his wife, children, even with his nan. So cute! And just the abundant studio decoration is already worth a peek. Makes me wanna cover my whole house in garlands! By the way: The video I posted is just the first part. You can find the other four parts on youtube.

No Christmas without...

..."Three wishes for Cinderella" (Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel). I love this movie and I love the tradition to watch it with my family. All thumbs up! It´s a czeck interpretation of Cinderella from the 70s, a really charming classic I use to watch every year. Old fashioned "special effects", beautiful clothes, a music theme which puts you into Christmas mood immediately, a very very sweet Cinderella and a stepmother and -sister to hate. Days before Christmas I usually plan the watching schedule by studying the TV programme around Christmas Eve. Actually, if you are lucky you can get to see it five times or so, I am sure! Oh boy was I happy, when the Christkind gave me the DVD as a present two years ago. I leave you here with a short trailer and hope you like it. By the way: Which Christmas movies are a "must" for you?
