Snowman before 30: Personally, I have to say that I was already building snowmen when I could barely walk...well, almost! That´s why I am of the opinion that before turning 30 you should at least have made one snowman! Since my boyfriend and I will both celebrate our 30th birthdays this year, and he has never done that before, we had to get started. The building phase was not very glorious since the snow was simply to poudery. And so Mr. Snowman, who you can see in photo number 4, is not the most beautiful one. Anyway, snowman is snowman is snowman, and my man an engineer and not an architect!

Sunday, sunday //3

Vanilla Pudding and Mad Men, my simple Sunday highlights! Starting packing the first suitcase and taking a nice bubble bath. Relaxing before the long trip home. Nothing more, really... :)

Have a good start of the week!

Sunday, sunday //2

What a lazy sunday...a hangover sunday after the Christmas party yesterday. So I took advantage and started covering my house all over with washi tape (masking tape). I had seen it on one of our shopping trips to Detroit already, but when we went there again yesterday, I just couldn´t resist anymore. I know I am a little late. There are already lots of blogs and websites which cover that topic. But do you know what? Better late than never! So I made some first tries and decided to cheer up our dining room with a "ñam". It didn´t turn out as flawless as I had hoped, but I still like it. I mean, for a first try... Then I also put some stars on the mirror and on the studio window. Looks a little flowery though, doesn´t it? No wall, no window will be safe from now on!

By the way: Seeing these photos now on my blog, it makes me even more want to paint all the walls in our new home white. This "mud colour" does not work for me at all!

Oops, gotta run already to the next Christmas party!
Have a lovely third advent everyone!

Sunday, sunday

Today I had a really productive day.  I finally had the time and guts to start with my own Christmas      cookies, as I use to do every year. What a baking session! But with some Christmas hits from my Rock   Christmas CD, haaaah...what shall I say? I just love Christmas. But see for yourself.

Looking for my cookie cutters in one big box that says "Kitchen stuff". Cookie cutters successfully found; Cinnamon stars: rethought if including them next year again. Not exactly the kind of "no worries"- cookie; Alltime favourites: "Vanillekipferl" (vanilla crescents). No Vanillekipferl - no Christmas! It´s as simple as that; "Mostkekse" (wine cookies with jam): not to sweet, that´s why I like them; the most cheesy table cloth ever seen. But after a whole afternoon with it right in front of my nose, I actually start to like it; made "Glühwein" (mulled wine) for my Spanish friends. A new experience for them, but I think they enjoyed it.

Happy sunday :)
